Why not have a dozer come in for a couple of hours and dig a nice deep trench, this is what I intend to do to my place this spring when I have the fence lines cleaned out and what is left of the buildings and other trash buried. That way you don't have to worry about it working its way back to the surface. He can do more in a half day with a small Cat than you can accomplish in a week with a tractor and a box blade.
