I bought a 1974 Ford 9600 this fall with a 9' Waldon dozer mounted on it for $5500 + tax at a farm retirement auction. Might not qualify as a "utility" tractor. Certainly wouldn't go under many trees! Seems to be a good tractor. The owner bought it new and it has 8800+ hours on it. Runs good and everything works. The steering under the dash has a leak that makes a mess and I have to keep adding ps fluid occasionly. Will take the hood off and investigate that when warmer weather gets here. Only trouble with a large old tractor like this of any make is that any major repairs can set you back $5000+ but then working on a smaller tractor isn't cheap either. I am sure a rig this size could handle about any dirt moving or stump pulling need you might have. Old Waldon dozers quite cheap to buy and solid as a rock. Well under $1000. The company is out of business but there is really nothing to wear out except cutting edges. Has a common implement cylinder on it. Fabricating mounts would require a handy welder guy if didn't have mounts for your tractor.
