They'll work but you may need to remove a cross chain or two depending on what type of chain it is. An 18.4-30 has a bunch more diameter than a 16.9-30... Beyond that the price sounds rather steep. For used chains I don't think I'd want to give more than 1/2 price unless I knew exactly how old they were and how much wear was on them. They ALWAYS look better than they really are... If you feel that they're good value I wouldn't worry about the size. Most sets are cut from the same width pattern out of a barrell anyway and then just cut to length.
