Are you sure it's a 700? Local gun shop has 12 700's used on their web site now and the cheapest one is $379 with all the others over $450. Do you know which letters are after 700? Used to be you had ADL and BDL's and that was it, now they have so many I can't keep up with them. Like B&D said what kinda scope it had would have some to do with it but I would say it's a pretty good deal as long as it's a 700. Look real close and make sure they didn't have a typo and list a 770 as a 700. Never heard any thing good about the 770.
