Plowman I run my 10"x62' grain auger{540} on 1000 rpm shaft with a 756 IH german deisel {75 hp] it works fine. Just do not turn your shaft over 540 rpm or you will tear the hell out of your baler . If your baler is a big round baler I doubt if the tractor will pull it .Light loads will work but heavy pto loads will bring a big tractor down on 1000 pto if set up for 540. Been there and done it.
