Never heard anyone predicting that late in Central Ill. My prediction either the last week of Oct or the 1st week of November was considered pretty pessimistic. Two have taken some corn out. One just a few end rows on some mid-May planted corn and then stopped. The other always wants to be the first harvesting and first done. Thirty + % moisture doesn't faze/deter him, likes to claim the flies follow his combine. His corn was planted in early May and surprisingly his progress has been slow based on past history. Many plan on starting slowly next week if the weather ever calms down.
