There's not a lot of corn coming out in my part of NW Iowa except where corn is needed badly. Some feed mills and ethanol plants are running short of corn so they're paying up well and maybe even dropping the drying charge, so there's been some 20+ percent corn coming out in a few areas.
The beans are about 1/2 done. We just need some sunshine to get the beans going but most of the corn is going to have to dry a bit yet if we don't want to pay a big drying bill. Jim
