Glad you mentioned the stop bath idea. Being a phootographer I have this on hand. This stuff is inexpensive too. Now my question.
How well does an acetic acid solution penetrate? I have some adjustable length tierods, basicly an 18" rod that slides tightly into an 18" tube. A band clamp normally keeps them tight but they are now rusted together. Think the acid will work? Anything else better?
