Viengar is a weak form of acetic acid, with some sugars and other organic "stuff". The same acetic acid in a much more pure form can be had from a photo shop which sells darkroom chemistry. What you are looking for is "stop bath" , usually sold in 28% solution. Mix approx. 1oz. to 1 qt. of water for a good usefull solution. If you get "glacial" acetic acid, this is much more concentrated ( and will support fire -- burn ) mix this 1.7 oz to 1 GAL of water. However you go, you must neutralize the acid when you are done, baking soda in water followed by LOTS of plain water is just the ticket.
