Make sure the draft vent is moving freely. I had one that would stay closed the first time the boiler fired up every fall. All I had to do was go down and flip it open and closed then it would be fine all the rest of the season. If you use a powervent to vent the exhaust to the outside there is a small tube inside it that detects air movement. should that become plugged the burner will not fire.I had to shove a small steel wire in it to clean it out one time. The powervent would start but the burner would not fire. It would pop the reset switch on the burner if I recall.
