Ebay is getting greedy. Now they are changing how they handle shipping insurance. The seller can no longer offer insurance as an option. The SELLER is responsible for the package the whole way to the buyers door. Sellers are supposed to roll in the price of insurance into the item cost or the shipping cost. How are you supposed to do that if you are auctioning the item? Insurance cost is based on the value of the item, but you dont know what the value of it is till it gets sold. Suppose you guess, and add the cost into the shipping, then the item sells for a lot less than you thought. The buyer is going to be mad that he has to pay this high shipping/insurance cost. I cant wait for someone to step up and open a site that can give ebay a run for their money...
