91 caddy rear wheel drive would give a little bump when releasing brakes from a light. Thought was U joints. They are ok. Careful attention seemed like rear wheels were not working in sync. One rear had year old lining almost gone and adjustment was loose. Other side fine. Son thinks there is equalizing valve on rears that is faulty, or do I just replace both and hope for better wear? Thanks- Dave This car is my baby, trying for 200K miles. Real close p.s. somebody said I need real asbestos linings. From where???

I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned.
