Tarping will keep the weather off, but can trap moisture if too tight usually not a problem. When I used a blue tarp in summer I found many dead wasp under it must have thought it was open sky.You can use a torn or cheap tarp to pad the sharp edges and save your good one a flatbedders learning experience.
