My dad used to say when asked if he had his knife; "I got my pants on don"t I". I started carrying cheap knives at the age of 8 or 9. As I aged I started carrying a good knife, typically a case brand. Now at age 62 when asked if I had my knife, I answer "I got my pants on don"t I?".
