I was in getting some warranty work on my 02 F350 DRW CC when a broad came in with one raised 12". She opened her door, a series of electric steps deployed automatically. She was all of 4ft-6" :)
I asked her how much, $200eh/door installed, and she said they came in "easy" steps or steps with a 5" rise as her father had bought them. A local custom shop.
I use my F350 4x4 in the deep Colorado Rockies and have high centered in the cab going over moguls because of my length. My diff's never touched. First time in 50yrs that I had to back out and look for another way to get there.
