Some of our best dogs have been stray scrappers that have wandered up over the years looking for a place to sleep and something to eat. As a kid, one wandered up big and pregnant, and "Mom, Dad, can we keep her"? Well, was snow out and for whatever reason Mom let her stay in the house that night to get out of the cold and we kids named her Judy after ??? Early on the following Saturday morning we were all awakened to the sounds of little dogs wimpering, and when we came out to look, she was giving birth, I think to like 8 total. Mom, being a 3rd shift labor and delivery nurse had just gotten home and was helping her out, then cleaned her and them up. Well, now can't put the pups and Judy out in the cold, so Mom and Dad made her and them a place in a corner of the kitchen. So one day while we're a school a few days later, Mom's home and in bed after work and Judy wakes her up grabbing her hand and trying to drag her out of bed. Mom gets up and follows her out to the kitchen and she's whining and trying to get her head under some buffet kind of thing where the dishes were stored, Mom gets down and looks, and one of the new borns had gotten under there into the corner and couldn't figure out how to get back out. All Mom did was reach back and save the day and hand it to Judy. Judy turned out to be Mom's best friend for years to come after that one.

Good lookin pups. Take good care of them, and momma. I love my dogs, miss everyone that's passed on.

Mark
