Is the engine REALLY getting warm? After warm up my rigs radiator hoses are UNcomfortably warm (HOT!). If the engine IS getting warm enough you have a heater problem. If not you have an engine problem (manifesting poor performance (Gas mileage, et al). I've heard that an over rich engine will run colder. Silly suggestion of the day: If the thermostat were reversed in the first place (Making you think you needed to replace the thermostat) and you replaced it the same way it was (As we most often do) You would have done a great job and accomplished not much. Did the replacement have "This side to engine" markings and did you heed? Pete in Post Falls
