belt driven governor

I have a backyard project of putting an old Chevy 6 cyl plus a granny four speed to replace four cylinder in an AC WC. Been lookin around for a belt driven governor for it on internet. One salvage place asked me if I wanted a one arm governor($75) or two arm governor($125). He said the one arm governors were off old combines with Chevy/Chrysler six cylinder engines. Well I know how a two arm governor works, throttle goes to one governor arm, the other arm connects back to the carb throttle shaft, but what kind of linkage does a one arm governor use? How does it work? I assume since these were used on combines, rpm settings had to be adjustable with a throttle as they are on old tractors. The only one arm governors I've seen were on large generators where rpm is pretty much set and then left alone. Even they have a screw and spring way to adjust rpm setting a small amount.
