which one to buy

I have 22 acres of land that needs a lot of work with the drainage ditches and moving dirt. Also, removing a lot of small trees. Considering buying a backhoe (Case 580). I have a tractor (30hp). Would it be better to up grade my tractor with loader and backhoe, or to buy the Case 580. I have rented a dozer last year and ripped the heck out of some fence lines that were overgrown. Would renting be better. I know you fellows have been through this before. Thanks for your help...Emery in La.
