Hydro creeper was an option, not a very good one, as the hydro motor operated at low rpm. The efficiency on these units was so bad that a 30% speed difference occured between no load and full load in 1st gear.
There were three different high-low transmissions, one built by IH for use in 404. The other two were after market. Problem with all of these, they either reduced PTO speed along with gear speed, or they worked through PTO thus one could not use PTO.
