Halbert what kind of alternator do you use on the 6V to 12V conversions??? I would appreciate any info you can share with me on this. I need and alternator that charges while the engine is not running like that, I would'nt have to drag the battery charger around if I had and alternator like you use. Heck just think it would'nt matter if you turned the tractor lights off or not, unless of course you parked with them shining through the windows in your eyes. Does that alternator you have make enough amps to power the needs of the average household????. If so I could get an alternator like that and a AC/DC inverter and pull my old tractor up by the house and park it to power my house alots cheaper and conserve that precious oil supply. I guess I could just convert the house over to 12V and save all that inverter money. One more thing I need to know since you know it all and don't ever, ever make any typo errors, when you convert your house over to 12V with that alternator like you use can you boost the neighbor's car off with your vacuum cleaner??? I sure hope so because I just got a new shop vac and it has bigger rollers.???? Thanks for any info you will give us--Burrhead.
