I have a 24 acre plot which my house sits on. It has a 2 acre pond that is used for irragation by the area farmer. When I purchased the property it had a ten year irragation lease. I have 5 years left on the lease. I'm think I will let the farmer continue irragting but, I think I should start getting something in return when that day comes. My question is how much? Do you charge by gallon, the days used or just a flat rate per year? He normal runs one center pivot and one traveler off it. I have desided to start tracking how many days he uses the pond since I have 5 years left to do so. I'm located south of Kalamzoo Mi. This year he has seed corn last was two crops of pickles. Thanks in advance. JRay
