Battery prices have been climbing steadily. Just shop by the pound and by the cheapest.
Last year, I was buying 6 volt Trojan T-105s for $52 each. Today, they are $110 each. Also, last year I bought a dozen Deka 220 AH 6 volt batteries though NAPA for $48 each. Now they are $105 each.
