Monday My brother and I were Harvesting the last of our corn with the combine, the rest we will pick as cob corn to sell to hunters. Anyway it is getting near closing time for the place where we sell grain so when we finish I take off with the truck. Earlier I had left my cell phone at our parents house when we ate lunch. So I head to the grain elevator brother heads to get phone and meet me there. Half way there in the middle of nowhere the throttle pedal goes to the floor. The little pivot ball on the pedal breaks off,no tools except a claw hammer and a crowbar. I found a length of insulated wire, pulled the engine cover up enough to run wire to injector pump throttle arm, tied knot in wire to hook claw hammer, and off I went still got there in time to unload. Yall ever have to rig stuff sometime? I accidentally posted this on The Ford Forum this week not that that was a bad thing but I do try to respect the fact that it is about Ford tractors. They are a great bunch Guys over there. Ron
