I've got a year one duramax and never once had a problem with the motor or driveline. I picked up some bad fuel somewhere and filled the fuel filter with garbage, that gave me some shifting/fuel starvation but changed the fuel filter and she runs as good now as when i bought her new. Heaviest load I pulled was 13 ton about 400 miles. Shy of one blown tire on the trailer, never had a problem nor did the truck hesitate once. And all this praise is coming from a Ford guy! lol
