Back in the '70's , We had a bunch of Lion Liftall const. forklifts, built in Sparks , Nv. with a Funk auto reverse trans.I still remember the side of it said "Funk Mfg . Coffeeville Kansas" It had a regular warner 4 speed like an old ford truck . the reverser had two pedals marked "F" and "R" . I think Massey did that for a while. After a couple years , we changed them out for stick shift components and the old warner L2 box to reverse it, because with the mast in the air ,the forklift was too unstable with the sudden unfeathered direction change.
