On my JD 401 there is a pull lever directly under the stearing wheel above the shift levers. It seams like the clutch is not necessary to operate the pto, all I need to do is pull this lever and the pto operates, push it in and it stops. Is this how this works, without the clutch?I must have the wrong manual, because the manual I have says nothing about this. Stan
