Today I was trying out my flail mower on some branches, and didn"t have enough rpm"s on the mower. I could feel the engine bogging down so I pressed in the clutch to stop the mower. I thought all was fine as the mower stopped. When I turned around I thought my mower was on fire, all I could see was smoke from the new discs on my slip clutch. Let me tell you that thing was smoking. So from information here I know how the pto works. Thanks Stan
