About 15 years ago my brother started noticing his cats were disappearing. Finally one evening we were standing out in the driveway between his shop and house. He had a dusk to dawn light. A small cat was about halfway to the house. We caught a glimpse of feathers, a flash really, and that cat went up into the night sky. Meow, Meow, Meow, and it faded away.
Next evening, same time, same place, except a scoped .270. Big puff of feathers. Cats quit disappearing.
