Sickle Bar information

I have purchaced an IH 7' sickle bar mower that has one rear wheel for support. It is missing a few pieces which I hope I can fabricate. What goes on the end of the sickle bar to suport it? Mine appears to have what is left of a piece of wood and some type of bracket but no one around here can tell me what it looks like. Also, did a piece of wood connect the rotary crank to the cutting bar? I can't tell from pictures I have seen because they are trying to get the whole thing in and I cannot see those areas very clearly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
