Friend was up on a ladder, trimming branches off a tree- lost hold of the chainsaw, it fell on his foot. Chain had already stopped by the time it got to his foot, but one of the sharp "dogs" at the base of the bar went into his foot. He climbed down, said "It doesn't hurt much". Was going to go back up ladder for more, but first took his boot off to assess the damage. I was standing beside him, and could see the bottom of his foot when he lifted it- I pointed out the drop of blood on the bottom of the foot, where the thing had gone all the way through. He decided at that point that maybe he'd had enough for that day. . .
