Another good tractor in the same range as the M is a Case DC. Might not be as common and harder to find some parts. I bought a good DC at auction for $500. No Eagle Hitch or live PTO. What do you mean by creeper gear? The 2.10 mph 1st gear in a DC 4 sp trans might be faster than you want. The M definitely has a slower 1st gear. I have 4 DCs, 2 with live Pto and Farmhand F10 loaders. Not the greatest loader tractor for stability. M is definitely better in that dept and has better traction. Case has good (hand operated) wet clutch that should last forever. Ms have good dry clutch. Had an SM on a loader for 20 years and never any clutch problems.
