Supply and demand is not the main reason for low milk prices.Main reason is that big companies like kraft are importing MPCs an caseins from other contries because they can substitute that for REAL milk and do it alot cheaper.Which means more profit for them and losing money to me The Producer.Thing about mpcs is it was never regulated by the fda so they are using a big loophole to make big profits.Dont buy into the supply and demand thing like the big corps want you to.My milk rep has been trying to pull that card on me since January but he does work for DFA.Also dean foods has made twice as much profit so far this year then last year.If there was no demand for milk they sure are selling alot of it.
