I don't know how it runs in cars or tractors, but when I have my 275 gallon home tank filled with the red stuff, it says right on the bill "Kero/Non-Taxable Diesel". I asked the driver about this and he said that this is the same stuff that he is delivering to the local farms for their machinery. I have about 30 Kerosene lamps and lanterns and it is one of the best fuels that I have ever burned. Almost no soot or carbon on the wicks. Oh...and if you double up with a friend to get your tanks filled in July or August and can take the whole truck load between 2-3 houses, you can get an incredible break in the price/gallon. In August we paid .99 cents....
