I think A Farmall A or Super A wouldn't be any better than your N. they don't have live PTO. I don't know about a B or C, butI think it's the same. I'll be in the same predicament soon (I have a 42 2N) and have noticed that JD's and fords seem to be a lot more expensive than equivelent Masse Fergusons or Allis Chalmers with similar features. I am thinking I will buy a AC D17 when the time comes.....I wouldn't buy anything without a 3-point hitch, you get spoiled even with your N. Here's one that looks good....I wish I had the cash.....
