I would pick a brand that you can get parts and service locally. It sounds like you need 25-35 horse power to run a small baler or 1 row picker. For tractors under $2,500 I would recommend: Farmall A or Super A,B,orC. These tractors run smooth as silk. Allis Chalmers WD, WD45, or D14. They have mucho power and alot of nice features. Most Ford or Deere tractors in this size class will be more expensive.
