We left for a show in Minnesota Friday and couldn't believe what we seen when we got to West Union. Took a tour today to see if our crops were spared. luckily we were missed again by about 2 miles. 4 weeks ago there was a strip 3 miles wide and about 20 long. 3 weeks ago another strip. 2 weeks we had winds up tpo 160 mph and total hailed out crops come within 2 miles. There won't be many combines running in Fayette county this year. I don't think there is enough crop in our county to feed thhe livestock. Banker always said that the hail had the first mortgage. I can see now how right he was.
