Well I hate to inform you on a few nursery FAQs. evergreen trees /ceders, are bought by foot height. that is nursery man standards. ask why it is because we have seen trees 8" caliper that are 6'foot,we have also seen 6' trees that are 2" caliper. If you are looking to get them replaced I would recommend is getting a price on replacement of that size tree 12'or what ever and just have them replaced with a max of 6'-8' any thing over that seems to have its growth rate so stunted that it is slow to restart or what happens is that the tree tries to thin it's self.I think any reputable nursery will tell you the same thing. To me tractors are just a hobby 25 years planting trees commercially pays for the hobby.
