With no equiptment to speak of. but a circular saw.press,mig welder. arc welder,limited hand tools and a whole lot of patience,it is more then possible to close in the floor so no wind, snow comes in to freeze the operator. Floor material is 16 guage with flanges that fit into the existing floor plate.The battery is set into the panel on the right side.and will be herculined so the battery will not be able to rub on the panel,and no gas from the battery will destroy the panel. The panels are notched to fit around the brake pedals and clutch. There will be 8"X16" boots over all the pedal arms. Thought you folks would enjoy the pictures and the 706 is comming together. After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
