several years ago over here, MP's shot and killed a guy that tried to run over them while they were challenging him. The bleeding hearts had a hayday with it and pulled the ole police brutality thing. Was it excessive force? Maybe, but who's life is worth more, the nut trying to run you over or the authority trying to protect the rest of the population?
Could they have done something different? Maybe.... Will other people think twice and probably decide against attempting to run through a checkpoint? If they are smart... This nut may not have had much clothes on, but could have had an infected needle or himself been infested w/ aids... In the cops place, would any of you that are squaling about how bad cops are have done anything different? Probably not unless you's just plain ignant.
