I was trying to find parts (clutch/flywheel) for our company's 1971 IH 4500A forklift. The clutch wasn't too bad,but when he (CASE IH parts guy) told me the flywheel was $1600.00, I almost fell off the stool!!! He says "let me make a call" and contacts his aftermarket supplier. We got it for $1000! Then a year later, I had to pull the engine out and overhaul it. Turns out our machine shop had an engine they'd rebuilt three years ago and the owner never came back and got it. We got that engine for $1500. It's almost a new forklift now compared to what it was.
