The 145 and 165 engines just use a larger diameter cylinder on the deck plate and the 115 block can be bored out for the larger cylinders, told Deere no longer makes the smaller deck plates and you have to bodify the blocks for the larger ones when overhauling that engine. The person that used to be the John Deelers mechanick had a 1010 that he had put in a 145 combine engine, think the 165 was not yet avaible and he had that tractor putting out 60 PTO HP with all standard over the shelf John Deere parts. You can't tell one engine from anouther by looking at it.
