Doing some painting here this weekend (living room, etc.) and I've encountered a problem that I've had before. I'm using good quality latex paint and when I roll it on, soon after (in isolated areas) I get a bubbling or blistering like the paint is lifting off the wall. The bubbles are BB sized and seem to be in little clusters or groups or two or three. Didn't have any of it on the prime coat the day before, also using latex. You can explode the bubbles with a pin, but the blemish is still there. Rolling over it sometimes works, but most times doesn't. Any suggestions as to what the problem is? The guys at the paint store mumble a lot of nonsense answers, but they don't really know too much about paint, maybe less than me.
