at most if not all auto parts stores there is a plastic tank repair kit cost around $10 and comes with a fiberglass patch for strength and a 2 part epoxy. Make sure to do the repair in the shade when it's not hot outside (early morning or late evening) when that stuff starts to hat up you have only a couple min to complete the repair. only a couple hour cure time and you are good to go.
