Nothing beats Marine Goop, ordered some to patch plastic canoes and it sure stands the test. Comes in a tube just like caulk, so we used a caulking gun which was great for covering larger areas. It was only about $6.00 a tube so we felt it was very reasonable. Found out about it by Googling about canoe repair. I'd sure give it a try, and I'll guarantee it will do much better than RTV.
