If that is the correct serial # it is an unstyled 1936. The style started with 60000 in 1939 and final year began with 299175 in 1952.
The serial number for a 39 would be found on the right side just below the mag. Later years (and I am not when this started) the tag was moved to the left side just in front of the flywheel. (Facing the flywheel). Hope this helps you.
