We pull a 15" with a 4wd 2755 Deere (about 75 hp) on some pretty steep VA hills. Unless the fields are very thick generally we get along just fine. Brush or heavy weeds would be a different story, just slow down. My biggest thing is make sure that you are weighted up on the front so it doesn"t get squirrely. We always make sure that safety has the priority. Admittedly, it would be nice to have few more horses sometimes. Pulling the same cutter with the bil"s new tractor (103hp) a few weeks ago was awful nice, it might be lame but I even took a picture.
