It used to be that Sears wasn't a half-bad place to go for service, especially if you got in a pinch on the weekend when every place else was closed. Not anymore.
I don't know which is worse: Sears being afraid to break a lug bolt, or Discount Tire, where they seem to think they did something wrong if they managed to change four tires without busting a bolt. Of course, anyone smart enough to light up an acetylene torch can get any lug nut off without breaking the bolt.
I like to give my business to the independent tire shops. My local shop beats the chain stores' prices anyway.
