I also have a Chev "05 Impala with ,last I looked around 65K miles. The brake pads allway around are at least about 50%. Some times when light braking I can feel a minor shimmy.Most of the time I brake hard and don"t feel it.A master mechanic told me that it is a Chevy thing.My wife drives the car mostly and the same thing went on with the two prior Oldsmobiles we had,SO? Any way I am happy with the milage we are getting on the brakes on the car.Car will probably get traded or sold this fall so I"m not getting excited about it. When we travel we use the Truck and the 5th Wheel Trailer.Truck is more comfortable any way.
