You have to be a registered hunter which requires classes and a bunch of tests that aren't given in English (and my German isn't good enough for so much in depth stuff) to own a gun other than an air rifle here. As far as chances, there are a bunch of small kids in the area, and it was about time for them to head for the school bus.
